New CVA Accura MRX

I purchased a new CVA Accura MRX after so many ranted & raved...

I converted it to shoot large rifle primers for BH209 (I recommend doing this).

I took 17 shots w BH209, Rifle primers, & barnes 290 TMZ bullets.

Gun is very nice and deadly accurate. Look forward to hunting w it this year.

How much powder and what kind of groups did you get?  I was thinking of getting the same gun

My eyes suck, I use 120 grains per volume (bh powder tubes), 290 barnes tmz, & shot at 75 yards. Last 3 shots were clover leaf.....I think foolish not to convert to rifle primers if shooting bh.

I love my tubes but never use those measurements. They aren't equal and don't match to weight or volume for me. Mine are multiple grains by weight off. You should check yours to check consistency.

Just purchased same gun. Still haven’t shot it but so far purchased 209mz primers, white hots and 250 grain Barnes Tez. Haven’t been able to find BH209

Definitely convert to rifle primers when you get BH.

So the guy in Cheyenne said I need 209 magnum primers for the BH209. What’s the difference.
