out in 50 again.  Just saw a 6 pt mount a doe while a fork watched

Doe and 2 fawns melted away into the red brier about 100yds out. They were hanging out there so they could have bedded. Haven't seen any buck sign here yet. Years ago it was loaded with sign and it was mostly grassy meadow.  Now it's all thick red brier. I like hunting red brier. Deer seem to like it too

they definitely hang out in the red briars.   good cover & food.  Im seeing best movement in 2-3 weeks this am.  Knock 1 down

Seen 5 bears total so far today, this gets ridiculous.  Since permit bow opened, ive seen over 100 bears on stand.  I know many are repeats but im constantly in different spots, areas, and ridges daily.  This is nuts!  Maybe its me? Lol

Heading out this afternoon for a sit zone 13. First time back out after I missed that big boy!went back trace my steps found no bolt no blood look like he got away. Hopefully he’ll  come back show him self!

I'm out in zone 5 for my first hunt of the year. Sure feels good to be back in the tree. The last 8 weeks have been so hectic and flew right by me
