2023 Opening Day Fluke

Anyone plan on going? I was,,then we got hit with all that rain and screwed everything up. I never miss opening day but this one would be one to miss. Well I have to fish and try some so I will go after work. Can’t see taking the day off with these conditions. Good luck to anyone that try’s. Next week it looks better. Catch-em up

May take the crab boat out in the river this afternoon 

shark river isn’t as bad as the other rivers after the rains .

or may just fish off the docks

I was there late afternoon and had about 10" visibility. No hits either in 45 minutes.

Sucks, when I drove past the Raritan River raging yesterday morning I knew RB was screwed but definitely didn’t expect more rain last night and this morning.

Been three tides since then 

but we def got a lot of rain effects coming in 

my sump is dry 90% of the year .

running solid for the last 3 days so def still a lot of ground water
