Mid morning near my house in a corn field a nice 8pt following a doe, following them a small buck

Went way back on the backside of another hill I haven't hunted since somebody shot the big buck here a few years ago.  No sign anywhere. Never know where a doe may lead a buck to, so here I sit hot and sweaty.

 Rather not shoot one at night anyway.

Don't know if this was mentioned yet  but my son just sent me a text ssying Murphy has reneged on stopping the bear hunt and it may be back in swing next month

A senior moment. Just tealized I don't have my glasses when everything started looking blurry as the shadows got longer even through the scope. I'll adjust the scope but its going to be hard seeing a deer past 40yds. Have a pair for reading in my pack but they're too strong. Extra pair in truck for distance but too far too late.🙃

Not a monster, but I haven't been seeing anything all fall. I'm done till PA firearm season.
