Picked up a 7lb center cut certified Angus beef rib roast this morning at shoprite. Total with coupon was about 44 dollars

I used my Holiday points for a whole pork shoulder myself. Will be a long smoke. It's 12 lbs.

Picked one up this morning also .

Picked up two rib roast today around 18 lbs each. 36 lbs of rib roast for $180 ain't bad at all.

I sliced one into a dozen boneless steaks and a small rib roast for dinner tonight. I freeze the ribs separately. 

The other 18 pounder will get dry aged for 30-45 days.

Smoked that small 2 rib roast for dinner.

Smoked to 125°F with just a little cherry and pecan for a milder lightly smoked flavor.

Then wrap in foil and towel for a 1hr rest.

Picked up a prime rib at SR today. Asked the butcher to cut the steaks 1" thick. 

After the SR Plus coupon & the digital coupon, total cost was @ $38.00. 

Put individual steaks in the freezer separately tonight. 

Sale ends Saturday.....
