Winter Bow is here

I'll be out if the temps are over 40 degrees and 10am-until 2pm. Too old for that cold early shit. I hunt zone 8 and 10. permit shotgun until 2/12  permit bow until 2/19. If i have permits for both gun and bow can i take both into the woods.

Will be out middle of the month with the Z7.

Not looking for anything specific. Would much rather shoot a big doe than a buck that has potential and has made it this far personally.

Hopefully get a few family members and friends on a deer with the crossbow as well. 

Bring binocs to inspect the flatheads......Sucks to see mature bucks that shed taken during late season....

I always enjoyed winter bow and would shoot a few deer for friends to eat once my freezer was full, but with a declining population due to EHD I may go out just for a buck and leave the doe alone.

Since this is very likely my last season in NJ (before moving to SC), I'll go out as much as my hectic work sched allows...
