flukebelly
Not to piss in anyones cheerios, but, read Fred Bear’s “ field notes” he and his hunting crew took some of the most unethical shots imaginable. They talk more about lost animals than found ones! On one hunt he described stalking ( i believe a mountain goat ) and could only see its back walking behind boulders at around 50 yds. So he “ LOBED “ the arrow by only half drawing his bow to try and arch the arrow over the rock and into the midsection which was completely obscured . was he a legend…Hell ya, but man did he just let em fly. Zipper
The Father of Modern Bowhunting. We all owe him a lot. He was a pioneer when sport bowhunting was in its infancy. Can't judge him by today's ethical shot standards. He was writing the book. Kinda like George Washington owned slaves. flukebelly and electricstart 1 1 "All men die, not all men really live".
