Good luck everyone. Out in z5. S winds today going SW. two deer bedded by my stand about 40 yards apart. Probably buck tending doe.  41 degrees. Trying out a new heated vest today. Prob do not need but want to make sure it works for the upcoming colder temps and snow Thursday night.

I have a big visit from vp's this morning. And as soon as they are out the door my hunting clothes are going on and i will probably pass them on the highway going to my spot. Good luck to all those out today.

Was supposed to leave for PA this morning and hunt the afternoon but my son wanted to hunt here in NJ this morning and I’m not going to turn that down. I’ll get up there tonight and be ready for the morning. He has football this afternoon and the rest of the week.

Hope he connects. 2 does passed him wide so far.

Good luck everyone!  I wanted to get out yesterday and today, but life had other plans for me.  

Fortunately it looks like I'll get out for deer Thursday, Friday, Saturday, pheasants on Sunday morning and again for deer on Monday.   I just hate having to wait
