Afternoon fluke

Got out of work a few hours early.  So headed to the boat to fluke with Eddie and Tracey..

EXTREME tide is an understatement.  Boats only had inches of water under them .

Fixed a nav light while waiting for enough water to push off.

Got to fish a few hours before heading in at sundown.

Tracey beat me by a few ounces for big fish honors .

Eddie had some nice sea bass to add to the mix ,a porgy  and a bunch of small bluefish .

New moon tide is usually a little higher and faster .

But the tides now are  pushing 7' 

Normal tide change is 4 to 5 foot.

Yeah today was a extremely low tide with the West wind and moon. Blows a lot more water out. 

 There was land where I almost never see land. That was at 2:30 when I came in

Tides aren’t that typical west wind blow out, but sure that’s didnt help .

the next three days tides are even more extreme , and it’s with hard east forcasted .

this new moon is a strong one
