Just heading out now to hunt an outer edge of a bedding area. I hunted this spot last Thursday in the rain. I saw nothing but, the wind is good again. I don't feel like getting beat up sitting in my ground blind with all of this wind. Good luck to all!

I'm back in Zone 9, sitting in the ground blind I set up for my daughter; she's not with me today. Dang this blind is warm inside... Hoping for something to show up.

Had several does and a 4 point out in the field near their bedding area. I was able to sneak up undetected and got within 60 yards of a big bodied 6 point. Nice buck but, want to see what else is bedded down. He would be a tough drag anyway.

I was hoping to get out for a doe one last time before New Year’s but woke up sick as a dog so I’m laid up in bed. We have a guy at work we call patient number zero because he’s always sick! Looks like he got me this year !!! Hopefully I kick it out of my system before I leave for handgun season in Delaware in a week.

I hope that you feel better. I'm leaving early on Monday for the last week of Virginia's rifle season.

Looks like the last hunt for permit bow in the morning. Got wrapped up in housework this afternoon and din't realize the time.  Got a lot done though all things considered.Maybe I'll hunt out of the coop the last hour

On recurve bow/doe patrol- need jan 1st winter bow tag before these bucks shed!!!
