Think this buck was shot?

Looks like he will be fine.. These deer are tough.

i dont think thats a hit. there are so many veins and arteries in the neck that a shot where that is he would have bleed out. 

 

i  hit one  deer in the neck by accident (i know horrible) but the blood trail was absoultey massive and deer was recovered within 20 yards. neck shots are very deadly.

and close to the jugular. almost seems at least one blade would cut it. i think she made a clean miss. which is a good thing. better luck next time, but experience comes with making mistakes. thats how we learn.

ah the good Ole neck shot probably my favorite.that is a fatal shot in that spot if it's a pass thru with a sharp broadhead

she probably shot at him too far for her bow or that deer was fighting.I well placed sharp broadhead in that spot will kill that deer quick it's not only the jugular Vein in that region there's alot of vessels in the neck besides the esophagus

Looks very close to windpipe but I'm thinking she's in a tree and the exit is even more far forward. Non lethal and what a pig!

I would hope that's not the case but low poundage bows esp for women they don't recommend mechanicals they don't have the energy for those type of heads.
