Sunday's Meal Soon To Be Ready !!

Few more hours and it's time to eat.

Few mason jars left, late August,  early September needs to get here so we can pick more tomatoes 

Meatballs,  beef neck bones,  hot/ sweet sausage and our own braciole pork & beef fried up and in the sauce

That's how it was when I was a kid and went to my Great Aunt's house in the Italian section of Elizabeth most Sundays.

Now in my house, it's Prego jar sauce and meatballs from the market. You guys are keeping the traditions alive.

Just used fresh jar this morning. Made chukars my son shot cacciatore. Wife made her Sunday sauce in addition.

Did you sliced the garlic for the pasta sauce by slicing it ultra thinly with a razor blade, so that it 'liquifies in the pan with oil.'
