Job opportunities in the woods?

Recommended Posts

My daughter graduated with an environmental studies degree. She's have a hard time finding work out in the field that isn't seasonal. She currently works at a state park but is limited to 900 hours a year. She could probably find an administrative job but the obliviously would be in an office.

Many positions require some science degree.

Do something that you can make more money doing with less effort and have more time to spend outdoors doing things you enjoy and aren't getting paid to do.

And have more money to do it with. Most of the jobs like GW don’t pay enough to have a decent meal every day.

Change your name to Pedro, buy 200yds of irrigation piping, a few bags of high nitrogen fertilizer, tomato stakes and some string. Find a nice secluded area of one of our pristine state or federal parks…preferably next to a native trout stream, then set up a medium scale pot grow and be sure to leave tons of trash around your tarp camp and let all of your waste water drain into the stream.

the American dream !

How do you survive on$44k/year?? That’s not enough to pay for apartment rent with two or 3 paychecks
