bushden
Day after surgery update. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT CATARACT SURGERY DONT DELAY. 24 hours after surgery I have no pain, only minor itching and my vision is better than it has been in the past 20 years. I go back to doc today and will try to schedule the other eye for next week. I cannot wait to put a rifle in my hands. Look out range dogs here I come! You will need glasses even with the lenses for reading, there is a lens that you can get that works like progressive glasses but they are very expensive so I opted for just the standard JD48 1 HONOR THE FALLENhttps://thefallen.militarytimes.com/ Over the years the US has sent many of its fine young men & women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. optowalt
A friend of mine put a progressive in one eye and a straight in his shooting eye. He loved it. I don't know how though.

I don't know how though. Interesting that you mention that. As I sit here with the surgery eye giving me perfect vision at distances and blur close up I was thinking about asking the doctor the same thing. I had my dominate eye done 1st so I can see better through a scope but thought how would a progressive work in the other eye. I might discuss it with the doctor. He by the way is also a shooter and was a professor at Hospital of University of Penn I see him again Tuesday and will talk to him about it.
