I’ve tried it a few times, and the texture I just can’t get past. And I’m probably the least pickiest eater I know

I had heart tacos yesterday! Love heart, almost always my go to post hunt meal after dropping a deer off at the butcher.

Don't get me wrong I have killed plenty of deer and this was the first time I've ever done it. I went into it with an open mind and honestly it was good. That being said I have tried beef liver before once with an open mind  and thought it was absolutely gross never again on that.

fresh beef liver? calf? most of what you get in the US is too far from the live animal. Fresh beef liver and onions can be a dream.

I haven't done heart tacos, but I love grilled heart. May have to give these a try.
