There is only 1 species of squirrel PIA !!!

I have seen black squirrels and they seem to be the same way. 

Most likely a dense thicket of pines, fir or hemlocks which is their preferred habitat.

Black squirrels are a pretty common site in Princeton and Hopewell area.

I believe this one is an American Red Squirrel "Pine Squirrel". Correct me of I'm wrong.
