This buck came on 12/11/14 at 1am with both racks, then came back at 3:30am with one side dropped off

Stress plays a major factor, which could be many things....poor food, genetics, illness could also be factors

I have one on camera from last week that already lost an antler.

Looks busted up. A buddy had a mature 8 come in 2 weeks ago in zone 2 with bloody pedicles already. Deer appeared healthy and had both sides on his camera the day prior.

Also has the long nose like a doe. I had a deer last year that kept its velvet until it shed. Could be the same deer this year held its velvet well into late October and had a bigger but similar set of antlers.
