Nice day out of Barneget

Me and the boy went out with some friends out of Barnegat today. First drops hit quick then tailed off. Zack caught a nice Ling and we had 12 sea bass at the end of the day.

Last hook I had a Taug that I released. Good times spent with friends and giving the boy his first taste of saltwater fishing.

And I muffed it again..no dinner pics...but it was good. Made a butter and Old bay sauce for some fillets on the grill and an olive oil, salt and pepper for a pan fry. We enjoyed the butter/Old bay the best.

Still have fillets left. Anyone have some recipes?

My son is one of the mates on the boat.  He brought some fish home for dinner last night.  He said it was a light crowd yesterday, and  he caught some jigging.
