hungry bass whose eyes were too big for its stomach

Check out this bass I caught today - when I had just reeled him in and he was at the side of the boat, I was looking at it thinking "that's a funny looking pectoral fin" :headscratch:

Then I looked closer after getting him on the boat :D He was hungry! That's a frog's leg sticking out of its gill. You can barely make out the leg inside its mouth - I guess the rest of it made its way down to his stomach.

This picture is from 2012. The resident frog in our fish pond was looking kind of strange and when I looked closer I saw that it had a chipmunk in its mouth. Later that day the chipmunk was floating as I guess the frog couldn't get it down.

I thought, growing old would take longer !

I spent most of my money on shotguns and fly rods.  The rest I just wasted.

A guard frog. I need one of those for my strawberry patch. Those damn chipmunks eat them.
