Weapon choice for the late season?

Crossbow in the late season. I'm hunting with a Ravin R-15.

I have a plan for one spot to get aggressive with the slug gun....but my preference is bow.

It's been rough this yr..still trying for a buck this season.

I hunted exclusively with the bow for many years and I really dislike hunting late season with it because my muscles get cold making it hard to pull back. I now have a crossbow but that’s more like a gun then a bow, so I would hunt with that. However after I started gun hunting that’s all I prefer to use in the late season and really just because of the cold weather. However this year with the mild temps I might go out with my bow again this year we will see.

Depends on what's open, what spot, what day, and what tags are left. LOL If Sunday I'll bowhunt of course.  Then I will decide whether it's the slug gun, the buckshot gun, or the muzzy. So many choices. LOL

No sir...I don't like dragging deer out of the woods anymore so I'm definetly not going to drag corn into the woods

.223. Great predator load, and you can find tons of it anywhere.
