Stormr Swell Hoodie

Got to use a new Stormr Swell Hoodie yesterday.

Its a softer Neoprene than waders are made of. super comfortable.

Shoulders Cut just right for ease of movement, and totally water proof.

Held fish against it ALOT yesterday and just rinsed it off with a hose while wearing it

 

Arms are slimmed down to not get in the way while reeling.

Retiring my Grunden fleece hoodie ( which were only waterproof at the bottom), as it doesn't compare to the Swell Hoodie

 

Looking for a colder weather top for fishing cooler weather check them out

Cool!!  Sounds like a good item to get from Santa!  Bet I would have to sell my left nut to buy one.....how much they go for!??!

They  are 149.

which is the same price as the Grundens fleece was .

The swell is a much better designed jacket, and they warranty it for a year .

Wow!!  That's not too bad!!  I thought they would be closer to $200......or maybe $250, the way things get priced up nowadays. And it's smart of them to price their product in line with their nearest competitor's similar item....grundens fleece sweater. I think I would feel more comfortable trying one on before buying it to see how it fits.....like 154 states above.....to see what size u actually need. Sounds like a great product!

I bought a 2X so I could fit stuff under it and it has plenty of room.

But after wearing it it’s pretty warm.

could probably get by with just a t shirt if it’s above 34 degrees.

i had a long sleeve Henley and a light vest on yesterday under it , was 32 degrees when we left in am and it was plenty warm.

keeps body heat in and really blocks wind.

 

 

they have sizing charts that seem pretty accurate  for each clothing style on their site

Looks like it would be great for that. Nothing worst than getting cold out there fishing. Plus keeps you dry too

Stormr makes makes some really great products. I may give that one a try.

That alone would make this a wise purchase as a cold wind is a merciless killer on comfort.

Told you that you would love it.....For our type of fishing its perfect, not bulky like other cold weather jackets and no restriction of movement. I still have one of the original prototypes (5Years now)and it still keeps me warm and dry.

AS you know im a center console guy. Wind sheer gets taken to a new level when your running at 40 knots and its below  freezing out .

Stormr  whole  series of clothing allows you to take fishing to the next level in comfort

I'm sure it breaths to let moisture out. Every experience I ever had with neoprene in products  gave me a clammy feeling from the moisture build up inside. Still warm, but clammy.

Dan you think if I normally wear a XL, it would be big enough for a sweat shirt or thermals beneath
