So I am teaching this class tomorrow in data analytics, so stats and numbers are on the mind.

 

Over at the "site that shall not be named" there are:

 

27,303 users registered who have never made a single post out of 37,380 users.

 

The site has now resorted to hiring people to register and post "canned" comments.  You'll notice a lot of people are joining and only posting once to start a conversation.  They register, post, and never come back.  They had to hire their own spammers.  Site traffic is WAY down.

But yeah...it's terrible over there between the hacking, false accounts and Chinese posts. I was actually debating posting a new thread over here about how to actively pull people and/or how to get banned over there in a blaze of glory. I haven't made up my mind which is better...lol
