On Saturday March 19th CPO Woerner inspected a commercial fishing vessel in Point Pleasant, Ocean County, upon its return from a summer flounder trip. During the inspection, CPO Woerner documented an overage of 374 pounds of summer flounder landed by the vessel. Summonses were issued for the overage, and the case will be heard in court in April. Soooooo is this just an outlier?  Or is this the complaint recreational guys have about commercial guys in general?  Not to say recreational guys aren't breaking laws too.  I guess it just comes down to who has the greater impact?  How is that "measured"?
