Day 3 of fires at my house.  This was Tillie on day 1!!! She couldn't get close enough.

I am guilty of having a fire in September but this is the first night I probably needed it lol.

have had mine going before tonight. but yeah, nothing like a wood burning stove. and its a labor of love for me.

this winter i will be laying stone behind it. as of now though it is to code with the heat shields. those two fans on top are a game changer with moving heat upstairs. as of now the basment is 80. and each level up drops 10 degrees. final level where the bedrooms are is 61. with no heat on besides the stove.
