I shot one of my first toms 35 years ago in a snowstorm, full strut at 11:50 am.  One of the most memorable hunts of my life!  A little snow will be awesome!

I'll be hunting with my youngest son from 10 till noon where I got my last bird.. took a ride on the ATV tonight before dark and the group of 7 where all together eating worms in a sand bog about 100 yards from where they roost.. With cold temps hens will be on nests and stay on them making the toms look.. Or it can be a silent now action day.. we shall see.. Tomorrow since the little guys is with me and makes a lot of movement I've opt to take the BPS 10 Gauge..  Last time with them the crossbow and blind was hard enough but a shot presented and a miss. Last bird with the SBE 2.. I just bought my kids noise suppression ears.. If shot presents tomorrow I'll give you all feedback

Scrambled!  Snow is coming down hard here in Blairstown.

Freezing down here.. No rain or snow, but wind chill in the upper 20s... Feels like i should be deer hunting. First time i ever brought a thermos of coffee for a turkey hunt, good thing too. Blind is keeping the wind out though. Haven't heard a thing.
