We just got back in. I had a doe coming racing across the field in front of me with nothing behind her, I jumped two Black ducks while still hunting the big swamp and when we got back to the house, there was a busted 4 point looking at us at 25 yards. My son passed on a real big 6 pointer that did circles around his stand and he saw a few does. I did check another camera and it had the big buck on it. Was kind of surprised that he crossed the road but, anything is possible. We'll be back out around 2:30pm or so.

I grunted in a good 8pt that was cruising through out of range. Then had to let him go, he only gave me a quartering to shot.

I'm off starting on Thursday. Temps look to be dropping bigtime which is great. Sat until 12 today hoping for mid day action. Very slow day. I think it's still a little early in my area.
