I agree, it was probably a combination of many hunters not hunting in the rain and the bears not moving.  Now that the rain is done and the temps start falling those numbers should pick up.  Although we are starting with a much smaller bear population than last year so the total harvest will be down from last year.

All these anti's will be happy when the new governor comes in and bans the bear hunt again.

 

Then in 3 years when bears are overrunning communities killing their pets and breaking into their homes we will see what they want to do. Maybe the lady giving the finger will hand feed them birth control! Lol
