Went out for a few hours then came home to find 'Momma', in the back yard.

She occasionally eats from my hand, but with so many apples on the ground, she pretty much ignores me now.

I saw nothing, my buddy shot one and I left early to go help him track. We tracked it for 3/4 of a mile through heavy brush on our hands and knees then it hit a big open field and that was it. We walked the field up and down and nothing...Going to try again tonight with the blood light, I'm thinking she may have hopped back into the woods at some point after running the edge. Fields are the worst nightmare when you are tracking....this field has high overgrown grass and lots of chiggers!! This was one of my finest tracking jobs, we lost it a couple of times as she made a lot of turns so I'm kinda pissed there was not a good ending yet! Looked like a one lung hit.
