Bucksnbows
They will quickly reach a point where sales drop precipitously because of the prices. I know my Iphone 6 will be run into the ground before I upgrade. No more of the two year/free phone deals these days. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board

People with money to burn will buy but they will lose clients who love the product but it takes them 4 years to pay for it. They will switch to something else and there is a lot to choose from now. 1957Buck
Wow! 1,100 bucks.....so do they still make those flip phones? Yes, they do I have never owned anything else but. My new 1 is 1-year-old Water Shock Proof and has a Walkie Talkie Feature. Mine is for emergency's use like 9 min. a Month. I get more Sh^& Calls than I make. And no Blocking feature or ID like Home Phone.

Wherever I am, that's my office for that time period and I need email and internet in addition to the phone much of the time. Axiom
Yeah these electronic devices are getting pretty pricey... A few years ago I paid $800 for a top of the line Toshiba laptop with i5 processor and 500 gig HD / 8 meg ram... now I need a new one because I've dropped this one a 1000 times and it's falling apart... a top of the line, almost any make lap top, with the latest i7 processor with 250 gig ssd and only 4 meg ram costs over $1200... I hate it but, I cant run without my iPhone 7... Aside from google maps, hot spot, emails ect, my fuel app alone saves me hundreds of $$ a month... PLUS its a tax right off soooo... 1957Buck
In my years of working at GM, the need of any of the electronics never was a problem. from my first Cell phone from what was available once again, it was for emergencies. As a Millwright, I was tied to an FM Walkie Talkie and a Stop Watch and a Wrist Watch. In my retirement years, I don't wear or own a watch. The flip phone and car have clocks I receive more calls than I make The Cheapest Verizon plan I can get is like $60 for 2 Flip Phones Mine and Wife when I got the new one last year they even gave me more Minutes 700 and Unlimited Texting I never use. I use at most 10 Min a Month since my calls are Verizon to Verizon no Charges. With 4 Computers and 1 Ipad in my house Never felt the need for any So Called smart Phone. All you younger Guys are so active they have become a Must have. In my work, I had to learn Computer Programing and Robotics as Gm went from none to almost full automation and watched as the work force went from 3000 2 shifts to 900 one shift. today I do some Gratis computer repairs and Hacking so my Flip phone serves me well. Can't even imagine what is in store in the near future. We went from Dick Tracy watches to iPhones Buck Rogers to Outerspace Astronauts. So what ever floats your boat is all Good. Forgot to add I have a Garmin GPS maybe 10 years old that gets me lost more than it gets me to where I want to Go Edited July 22, 2017 by 1957Buck
