You won't have to worry about it cause you don't fish the streams. You will be fishing 40' to 100' of water instead of 35'-90'.

i rarley head out on opening day. if i do, it will be an hour or so before sunset. its just to crazy out there, and my best fishing is when im by my self. much more enjoyable too.

 

oh yeah, opening day = trash all over our rivers. PICK YOUR CRAP UP!

just changed the lower unit oil and spark plugs in boat today, just need a fresh tank of gas and i am ready

I always fish ponds on opening day.  Plenty of room to spread out.

I could be wrong but I'm thinking that there will be significantly less foliage,  and it won't be changing colors.

 Do U remember the set it was part of the Low water on the Flat Brook ??? It will be 3 weeks before I even try this spot. hope access is better, not worse but that is why not many can fish it.
