Well...decided to sit this evening for the last 90 minutes or so. The seat on this ladder stand is soaked, so now my ass is soaked. Hopefully I end up with some freezer meat or a decent buck in front of me.

Just had a raccoon walk by

I saw a few but they moved early around 4:00. The two under the scrape were going ape nuts over the Pete Rickards Indian buck lure I put there.

Today was my 23 rd anniversary so I didn't push the hunting and took the wife out to dinner.  The deer where on their feet all day outside my house and all throughout the neighborhood.

Didn't see a deer at all. Considered shooting a rabbit just to bring some meat home. I haven't eaten rabbit in years

Got in my first sit of the year this afternoon. Missed  a doe at 17 yards at 5:00 pm. Shot right over her back. Will be back at it tomorrow in another spot.
