The Bear Tree

Since I've put a camera at the corner of my property over the last few months, bears seem to be attracted by this tree. Every bear that passes rubs it. Pretty cool.

that's a great bear in the B&W pictures .....Once one starts to rub it attracts other bears

That’s a biggun. But bear trees are very common. As others said, they use them to mark territory and let other bears know who is around.

Between now and say around the December bear hunt the average 100 lbs more ...but being they move distances and the bear 's rut is coming the chances aren't good he will be around
