Day 4 A week

Had work this morning only made it out for 2 hours first day I heard gobbling on the roost though

I’m exhausted.   Trying to get up n get going.

Took a half day today… not a peep in the two spots I’ve been to so far… headed to spot three hoping for some late morning luck.  A bit windy today in my parts

Longbeard down, public zone 7, walked in the woods at 8am, back at the car by 930am.  The one day I go out by myself with no shooter with me lol

  Tried Zone 6 instead of Zone 7 this Morning.  No Gobbling at all. Empty woods except  for a Black Bear checking me out from afar.  He wasn't that  Big.

I got out this morning in zone 9, I heard some gobbles while they were still on the roost. After they flew down I was calling and getting some response and I could tell he was getting closer. I had a coyote come in at 15 yards ( I couldn't get a shot off) it ran off in the direction of the gobbles and then they went silent. I called it quits at 9:00.

Sxp has been treating me good.  Its 12 for 12 one shot kills since last year.  Throws a great pattern with federal premium lead #4 3.5” shells.  I did have some issues with it ejecting and loading but took care of it polishing a few moving parts
