Is it Tuna Time?

Weather looks ok Sat and Sunday, time to take a ride and see what's out there.

Thinking about running and gunning for tuna in the morning, will give up by 11:30-12:00 if no signs of life and look for some bass or tog.

Anyone else running this weekend?

Keep us posted on how you do.

If you ever need another guy or 2 to offset gas and bait let me know.  Would like to get more experience on offshore fishing.

Went out couple of time tuna fishing,  but always on the troll, I would love to jig , chunking etc

Went sat

Cleared the inlet by 5:45am and on the troll by 6:15.

Trolled for 2 hours in the fleet, but didn't see any life so packed up and headed north. Trolled another few hours up north, but no marks and no life.

On the way back in found a couple dolphins, casted on them but didn't seem to be holding any fish.

Sunday morning I saw a lot of pictures of big fish boated. Will try again next weekend.

NOAA closed trophy Bluefin category starting tomorrow at 11:30pm.

Very bummed out about this news.

Surprised it stated open as long as it did .

usually the buyers in Massachusetts get us closed down after the first one is caught
