Raritan Bay Fail

First trip out for my wife and I.  Marked good fish throughout the morning but no takers and little bunker action.   Tried fluking and that wasn’t working so we called it at 2 pm, and on our way into AH, the wife spots boiling bass.    We threw NLBN white and green soft baits and left them biting and all released.  Wife was high hook while I netted, as usually.

@Jafgasa thats a great end to a slow day!   We were hoping for the same... Seems I should have made a left instead of going straight!   I did find a huge body of fish in the back bay south of Keyport by 4pm, and was tossing NLBN and Tsunami shads but just a few light hits and follows.  They were not ready to feed yet.

Sucks but that sounds like my normal day, we crushed em yesterday, can't believe I said that lol.

Did not have easy time finding keepers however, we got one keeper at 36" everything else was 44" to 54" 

More in the freezer would have been nice but great day out there yesterday.

you got some cows!  I have never even seen a bass over 50" !   Pics or it didn't happen!

Yeah that sucked as a day of fishing. My uncle and I could only get one keeper fluke out of 15 fish. Very slow for me Saturday
