Great one side Mike . But unless my old eyes can’t see it I don’t see anything on the other side . I don’t believe fighting would take it down to the base . I’m thinking it never grew or dropped early from injury ?

Yeah from the few pics I have it appears whole side is not there so you could be right. I have no history with him so I don’t know

I’m no expert but I did sleep with my ole lady last night.  He is busted clean at the base.  It happens.  Basic physics

I’d go with broken off under the burr. Not often you will see a big clean side and not grow anything on the other. Have seen few small ones that way but will start growing some as the get older. Great buck Mike for next year
