Why hasn't this site taken off yet?

We've been around for well over a year and it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere? What can be done to boost it? What was the start date?

On a serious note it'd be cool to get this forum like NJH used to be long ago. There were and still are some great people out there. Many of us had a blast at outings and events. Then drama just took hold and caused a bunch of clicks and rifts between people. Then many just got tired of it and moved on, "snoozing" in the corner

He was a young whipper snapper when I first met him, but that was a LONG time ago.

Matty's so old that he remembers when my daughter was just a little thing, running around our hunting property naming all the deer that we were supposed to shoot.  Now she's all growed up.

Thanks, we had some pretty cool experiences with deer on that property.  Her 4th grade teacher had to ask her permission to shoot one of the bucks that she had named.

Personally I'd rather have a smaller member base without childish drama. A year really isn't that long for a site to establish itself. It will grow in time. I don't post much during non hunting months but I'll be on a lot more often starting now. I would assume others will also[emoji106].

like others said, because there is no drama here. the way it should be. i remember another site when it was a bunch of guys just talking about hunting, fishing, trapping, and the outdoors. then something happen and member list hit in the 10,000's and that site went down the drain. i like this site, its more laid back and quiet but with a lot of great posts and information. this site is like a dive bar. nothing wrong with that

I'm not sure Pennsyltuckians are allowed in an NJ dive bar, isn't there some kinda state law against that...there's a law for everything else here!

I've been meaning to check out Jay's Elbow Room in Maple Shade for awhile...place looks like a total dive but has really good reviews, which is amazing for...well, a dive! haha
