Another reason to love it here

A paddle around the coastal bay here this morning before the season goes out later this week.  I didn’t get out all winter this year since I trapped more freshwater this year.  Next year I’ll be more on the salt and plucking these.

Saltwater bays are almost always nice. Even the ones here in NJ

Yeah. I’ve been gone just long enough that I didn’t really see much oyster up there. Bay scallops had become routine while raking clams but not oysters. I see guys get a few up there now.  We can harvest 100 per day here recreationally without any kind of license.  It’s nice.

Yea, nice- I clam a lot, never ran into oysters or scallops. Enjoy
