For The Sitka Guys

For the guys that have been using Sitka Gear. How do you care for the product...washing, drying etc? Do you follow the manufacturers instructions or have other methods?

I'll do a cold water wash and air dry.  There are instructions for a water repellant treatment that needs the dryer but I've never done it

Worst camo pattern I’ve ever owned IMO

sitka should make trebark 

Sitka clothes are good quality and I love everything about them except the fact that you stick out like a sore thumb in the woods.

I only cold water wash w/ scent eliminating detergent,  and air dry 

equinox pants & jacket 

stratus bibs, jacket and vest 

incinerator bibs & jacket 

finatic jacket

I’ve yet to have any issues sticking out to game in my experience. The patterns are designed to contrast characteristics of the woods to “camouflage” you based on game’s vision, not your own.

Trebark how about ASAT . Deer look right through you . Hard to find anymore  ASAT still made I think

Sitka is the best just expensive.

I have the incinerator bibs & jacket but mostly use the fanatic top with the bibs only washed it once when originally purchased..

hang outside then store in a bin with cedar chips…

In time the washer will break things down only my opinion
