My buddy's honda element was targeted for its catalytic converter, I did some research and it appears there is some organized crime capitalizing on a few vehicles(like the honda element), in which rare elements like Rhodium/palladium/etc is present. In short, the few grams of that element goes for alot of money in the black market, but it requires specialized extraction and handling. Do not try this at home folks.

as of this writing, an oz of Rhodium goes for ~$17K. (https://www.moneymetals.com/rhodium-price)

Does anyone actually have any luck with record rack products

In my experience yes, the berry block works well.  Definitely attracts does and bucks and lasts a few weeks.  Downside, is bears tend to lay on it all night and devour it quickly.

They work real well during first half of season and again late season for me. November/December not so good for some reason. And that is over 4-5 years now. So I only use the blocks sept/oct/jan. I also do not put them out if calling for a heavy or steady rain within 48 hours. I forgot the weather forecast and dropped a block in one spot last season. It was literally washed into the ground.
