Gun Cleaning

I am looking for an all around gun cleaning kit.  Handguns, rifles, and shotguns.  What is everyone's favorite and what do they recommend?

I’ve got a mixture of stuff I’ve collected and not a kit per se. Single piece rods ( Tipton, J Dewey) brass patch holders and jags, Hoppes #9 solvent cleaner, Shooter’s Choice Bore Cleaner, Ballistrol CLP, Rem Oil. I also have a few bore snakes in different calibers.  If you want a kit I hear Otis has some nice packages.

Being a novice I've found Otis to be the best.

and then building your own to what you need, I like dental picks and pipe cleaners along with tooth brushes to go with a Otis cleaning kit. For really dirty barrels I still prefer a stiff rod( that’s what she said) instead of the cable

This is really the only way to really get a bore clean. Bore snakes and all those other bs kits are just that... bs.

A bore snake is just a touch up. Doesn't do real cleaning.
