Jerky got a little overdone.  Thought I'd be home to check it in 8 hours.  I set it for 10 so it wouldn't shut off until I got home.  It went all 10 before I got home.  I'm saving the thicker pieces  for the hike.  They shouldn't be crispy.  I'm also bringing some deer sticks.   Just 4 of us now?

Any suggestions on hiking boots and where to get them?    My meindls are falling apart.  Went to campmor today and they had nothing in a 10.  Going to try dickey dicks in the morning.  Anyplace else up in middletown,ny?

It’s a little muddy up there I hiked it Wednesday and Thursday. Nothing to crazy.
