A thief at one of my bear spots ...

Yep, he stole my milk crate. Was turning it upside down and putting a large rock on it along with lots of heavier branches. Went in today and couldn't find the crate. This picture on the camera disc gave him up, lol

Looks like he prefers take out over dining in

They steal 55 Gallon drums too... and not the empty ones either

I usually chain my drums to a tree, but this is a spot where I really can't use a drum. I am more than legal distances on all accounts, but really don't want attention brought by the noise of these guys rolling and digging through a drum.  So . . . now somebody may wake up to an empty milk crate in their yard, lol

Honey did you order a milk crate full of donuts? Cause I found the crate.

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
