What is all that?
That a red dot on top?why such high scope rings?
Is your face even on the comb when looking through the top sight?
Very curious about this set up. I'm not a scope guy so I'm clueless what I'm looking at here...

I can't imagine being able to look through both, scope and red dot with ease.

To start all good questions.   After Mounting and seeing many rifles scoped and the means to Sizing properly to the shooter. No 2 are alike. I ordered 3 sets of Rings for this project and settled on the one that felt the most comfortable where the line of Eye Site Meets the Scope Field. without hunching over or bending my head this set up is in a direct lining to hold my head upright as one photo demonstrates. The other photos are different stock profiles than mine that is straight. The scope may appear High but is just right for me.

As for the Red Dot, they are not new to being mounted on top of a Scope. As the military has been doing it for years. and Is Catching on in The Sporting world.  without much more effort of looking over the scope fast target acquisition is achieved as well as Targeting. to some getting used to or no need for it. like anything else, it is a Choice.

What's the red dot for?
You're optics are so high off of the barrel as it is...
Sell the dot and get med rings if your bolt won't hit the scope at the lower elevation.

All explained in a post and the Bolt did hit. had to move mount forward closer to the chamber.
