By the time the heated floor, concrete, and electric go in, probably 250 to 275k.

Unfortunately, out of 50 post holes, 20 have water. Tomorrow we will try to dewater all the holes and get the build back on track Wednesday.

I would think the barn guys could be done this weekend. The rest is on me and the heating guy.

No expert here. But concrete will cure under water it should displace water as you pour. Are you using the sono tubes?

Absolutely!! 

BUT......building inspector WILL NOT pass the footings if they have water in them. I said the exact same thing....no go

Day 2 has been a bust. Other than cleaning out an old swale that leads to my pond, no real progress today getting rid of ground water. It's slowing but not enough. I have the excavator coming back tonight to see if we can dig a drainage ditch along two sides.

How deep did they dig for the footings ?  you must have a high water table.  I do as well.

6 foot. 12" of stone, then dry concrete. The area where the barn is going used to be a riding arena. Now I'm thinking it must have been low lying at one time because the area is backfilled with bank run over a blue clay base about 2 foot down. The water is getting trapped.

Made some headway tonight by digging a pit in one corner of the pad and pumping all the water to it then another pump out to the swale. Pumps will run all night. Fingers crossed.
