I personally watched does hide from a buck yesterday it was pretty cool to see, buck entered the field and they quick jumped 15 yards into the wood line and immediately bedded.

Eff me my target buck was walking towards me as i walked in. I dropped loaded a bolt and he walked broadside at 30 but my safety was on. He saw me flip the safety. So instead of deep woods std where he headed I'm set up in corridor std now.

Another empty page entered in the book. Only 1 doe on camera in the middle of the night in 4 days, but bear every day.  They were just out of sight from me this morning.  Have another hill in mind for tomorrow.  Not going to let the lack of deer keep me awake.

Took til 459PM (21 minutes left) to see my only 3 deer of the day, all does 300+ yards away. Felt like it should've been a good day.

Had a decent buck at noon today on camera. Made it out to sit for the afternoon to have just 2 doe come in at last light

11/7 is Bill Winke's favorite date. I'd probably trade it for the 14 degree temp drop on Wednesday. I'm going to skip the morning, wife needs a mental health break. Tomorrow afternoon is my last hurrah of rutcation.
