ETAR

I just got back from ETAR, Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous.  My son and I spent Saturday and Sunday there.  We shot four courses and had a blast.  I can't express enough how nice everyone was from the hosts to vendors and of course the participants.  The only bad thing is the wife put a $1oo limit on my son and I.  Luckily I found him a long bow for a $100 and I scored a basket quiver and fiberglass Ben Pearson for just over a $100.  Don't ask me why but I like the old fiberglass bows.  We must have shot hundreds of times and I can barely move my arms but it was worth it.  I definitely recommend going if you can.  This will probably be an annual trip for us.

I use to go to the ETAR shoot every year when it was at Denton Hill. It is a great time and family friendly environment. I hope to get back there when my kids start shooting.
