Pups 1st rabbit

Had the 2 meat hounds out Saturday for half day.  My 10 month old pup did good for her age, 3 solid runs, got 2 rabbits for dinner ( rabbit catchtori).

Not gun shy. She did well

Very cool. 

I miss rabbit hunting.  I miss the sounds of beagles first getting that scent and they start that whimpering howl.  Lol. 

I don't miss chasing after my dog if/when he saw a deer. Lol.

It's a thrill for sure.  I do deer breaking at a early age with the e-collar well before the season.  I can almost guarantee my dogs won't run a deer.

Before e-collars it was a different story, nothing ruins a hunt more then watch the dogs take after a deer and you can't do nothing about it, except run after them, lol.
