Last day of Gun

I plan on hunting tomorrow afternoon. Was going to go out today but, had to work late. I'll be out next week with the crossbow.

Going out tomorrow with my son and a friend from HS. Its the highlight of my week since he moved out. We ran into a guy at Black River last week. First time in years we've seen another deer hunter during gun season. . He's not on here, I asked. He had killed 3 deer during bow and 6 day.. He specifically said that we should bow hunt. After small game the deer change movements. Onto private property or down in the swamp. He had bait piles including the 1 near my blind. He moved to a different area when he found out where we were going. Some other good advice while walking in to the stands. A handshake and a good luck in the dark from a stranger.  Even if I get skunked for the season, there will be a toast at the end of the day tomorrow...there is no rotten time when I'm outdoors.
