Demo Then and Now

Man did snares come a long way since I started snaring muskrats back in the 60's

Then K-9's and coon in the 80's.

The K-9 snare were so primitive compaired what we use today. Locks and cable that are avable today blows my mind when I think back, how we ever cought a thing.

Recently, I was reading somewhere about the history of snare trapping, and they said back in the old days when you had trappers  living out in the wilderness, they would use whatever they could find - including vines and horse hair!:shock:
